BREAK FAQs

WHAT IS A BREAK?

Engaging in a group break at CardEx is an exhilarating way to collect sports cards. In these sessions, we regularly unbox sealed packs, boxes, and cases, setting aside every valuable 'hit' for distribution to participants who have entered. A group break involves multiple individuals collectively sharing the cost of an entire box or case of trading cards. This provides an affordable opportunity to pursue and collect cards at a fraction of the cost compared to buying the entire box or case individually.

WHERE CAN I WATCH THE LIVE BREAK?

All our breaks will be broadcasted live at the above links.

WHEN ARE BREAKS LISTED?

At CardEx, we offer three distinct break categories to enhance your experience. The "Breaking Today" category features breaks scheduled for the upcoming day and is listed the night before the event. The "Breaking This Week" category showcases future breaks scheduled for the week, with listings available at least one day in advance. Our "Pre-order Breaks" category is presented whenever CardEx has stock available for pre-order, providing you with the opportunity to secure your spot in advance.

WHAT IS A PICK YOUR TEAM (PYT) BREAK?

In a Pick Your Player/Team break, participants have the opportunity to purchase a specific spot for their preferred team or player. The total cost of the break is tiered to reflect the likelihood of each team hitting a card of significant value, providing a structured and customizable experience for participants.

WHAT IS A RANDOM TEAM (RT) BREAK?

In a Random Teams break, participants select a spot number, which is then randomly assigned a team before the boxes are opened. Upon purchasing a spot, participants are allocated a team through a random process during the live show, just before the break begins.

All spots are priced equally.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CARDS?

Shipping is part of the package for all CardEx breaks.

For our friends down under in Australia, we automatically send out all cards every week. The weekly cutoff for postage is every Sunday, and all cards gathered until then will be express posted on the following Tuesday or Wednesday.

For our international friends, we carefully organize and hold onto all cards until you let us know it's time to ship.

We ship with Auspost and DHL.

Please be aware that if you have a small stack of cards with no noticeable hits, we may hold your cards until your stack grows. However shipping is always available upon request.
